In the 10th minute, coach Nguyen Van Vinh's team had the first scoring opportunity of the match. From a set-piece on the left wing, Quang Vinh entered the penalty area reasonably, jumped high to head the ball, sending it beyond the control of goalkeeper Le Van Tinh, but unfortunately it missed the post by a hair.
