Following their dramatic 2-1 victory over Japan U19, the Chinese U19 players continued to shock by holding the defending champions, South Korea U19, to a 0-0 draw.

With this draw, the Vietnam U19 team officially bid farewell to the AFC U19 Championship after two losses. Meanwhile, the China U19 team has the greatest advantage in Group C because in the final match they will face a weaker opponent, the Vietnam U19 team.

For the Japanese U19 team, to qualify for the next round, they must defeat the South Korean U19 team.

Meanwhile, in Group A, the U19 Thailand team was a major disappointment after losing 0-3 to the host team, U19 Myanmar.
