Vietnam defeats Myanmar in U19 Southeast Asia
Vietnam had to beat Myanmar to maintain their position at the top of the group and compete for two semi-final tickets. Therefore, coach Dinh The Nam fielded his strongest squad, including nine players who had rested in the win over Brunei two days earlier. With the mobility of Quoc Viet, Van Khang, Van Truong, Dinh Bac and Minh Trong, Vietnam quickly made a difference.
In the 3rd minute, Dinh Bac passed from the left wing into the penalty area for Quoc Viet to head the ball into the far corner, leaving the Myanmar goalkeeper rooted to the spot. Just a few minutes later, Van Truong escaped the offside trap facing the opponent's goal, but was slow to handle the ball, allowing the Myanmar goalkeeper to come out to block. In the 12th minute, Van Khang escaped from the right wing and crossed the ball, but Minh Trong's shot hit the Myanmar defender.

In the 55th minute, Van Truong jumped up and hooked the ball in the penalty area. The ball flew to Quoc Viet, and was headed back by the NutiFood academy striker for Van Khang to finish. The ball went hard at close range, hitting the Myanmar net. In the 90th minute, Van Khang continued to pass the ball high into the box for Quoc Viet to jump high and head the ball to increase the score to 3-0.
Despite playing tight throughout the 90 minutes, Vietnam's defense lost focus in the third minute of extra time, allowing Myanmar to cut the gap to 1-3. With their third consecutive win, Vietnam continues to lead Group A with 10 points after four matches. However, this position could change as Thailand only plays Brunei, and Indonesia hosts the Philippines in the next two matches.
In the final round on July 10, Vietnam will enter the semi-finals if they win or draw with Thailand. Before that, both teams drew 0-0 with Indonesia. According to the tournament rules, if three teams have the same number of points, the head-to-head score will be considered first to determine the two semi-final tickets.
U13 HAGL player attracts attention because of his small stature
The boy Van Ban is a member of U13 HAGL. He was put on the field for a few minutes in the 0-5 loss to U13 Song Lam Nghe An. The little time on the field still helped the boy born in 2010 to be noticed because of his modest height at the age of 12.
Mr. Tran Van Quynh, Training Director of HAGL Academy, said that teams like SLNA and Viettel have very good and even physiques. That is also a good point for Vietnamese football. HAGL also has players who are up to 1.74 m tall. Little Van Ban is a special case.

According to Mr. Quynh, Van Ban was born in Cam Giang district, Hai Duong. His parents let him take the entrance exam for the 6th course of HAGL Academy. Although he was short and far behind other students, Van Ban had very skillful feet. He made a strong impression on the entrance exam day but did not pass the entrance exam to the academy.
However, the new training director of the academy personally gave Van Ban a special place to study culture and play football like other students. In addition, Mr. Tran Van Quynh also adopted the boy, helping him develop his talent.
"Actually, we only let the Competition Board play a little bit so that they can feel the atmosphere of the first tournament. The purpose of U13 HAGL is to have fun and enjoy the summer days swimming in the sea in Da Nang. Of course, we still focus on physical fitness in the selection process," Mr. Quynh added.
In this match, U13 HAGL lost 0-5 to their peers from SLNA. The young team from the mountain town has many other players with good height, not inferior to their friends. In their squad, they have two 13-year-old players, the rest are from 10-12 years old. The team has one more match before leaving.
Man Utd set price for Ronaldo
According to UOL (Portugal), the "Red Devils" are ready to sell the former Real Madrid star for about 13 million pounds.

The British press reported that coach Erik ten Hag wants Man Utd to resolve Ronaldo's future as soon as possible. He fears that the prolonged situation will be detrimental to the team, especially when the players have returned to the team and started training. These moves show that Man Utd is ready for life without Ronaldo in the new season.
The 37-year-old striker is trying to buy time for his agent Jorge Mendes to find a new destination. Some sources in the foggy country revealed that "super agent" Mendes is in contact with Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Napoli.
The lack of Champions League qualification has caused Man United many difficulties. They have not been able to complete the deal for Frenkie de Jong because this player is determined to stay at Barcelona. Now, the "Red Devils" are at risk of losing their top scorer from last season.
While Ronaldo remains in Lisbon, the Man United players have returned to the team and had a few training sessions under new coach Erik ten Hag. The "Red Devils" stars will begin their summer tour from July 12. Coach Ten Hag's team's opponents are Liverpool, Melbourne Victory, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Atletico Madrid.
