Coach Bui Van Dong, who just led the Dong Thap U17 team to win the National U17 Championship and is currently coaching the Dong Thap U21 team, said: “I highly appreciate the very good results that the U19 team is having at the Asian U19 tournament. I am not surprised by that result because coach Hoang Anh Tuan has a squad of young players with the same quality as the previous U19 team.”

Regarding the upcoming quarter-final match, Mr. Dong commented: "In football, it is difficult to predict what will happen because the ball has not rolled yet. Coach Nguyen Kim Hung (U21 Long An) said: "I did not follow all the matches of the U19 Vietnam players, but after reviewing the achievements of the U19 when they drew with the UAE and won against North Korea, it is not a matter of luck in football, but only teams with real strength and power can have such good results.

U19 Vietnam is in good form and has a high fighting spirit, the players' physical strength is also impressive. I see in this team the bravery and maturity shown in each match.

I think coach Hoang Anh Tuan should continue to implement a quick counter-attacking style of play, limiting mistakes in defense. If he can concentrate on all positions on the field and with a high determination, I believe U19 Vietnam will cause a lot of trouble for Bahrain players.
