U20 Vietnam calls up 30 players to prepare for World Cup

This list gathers veterans who helped U19 Vietnam win tickets to the U20 World Cup finals such as Ha Duc Chinh, Tran Thanh, Tien Dung, Trong Dai, Minh Di, Tan Tai...
On March 21, 28 out of 30 players will gather in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa. Only two players Quang Hai and Thai Quy of Hanoi Club will be allowed to gather three days late because they are busy competing in V-League.
After a period of training in Nha Trang, on April 8, the team will move to Hanoi for training. On April 16, coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team will go to Germany for training. During this training trip, U20 Vietnam will compete with young teams such as Monchengladbach, Schalke 04, and Fortuna Duesseldorf.
After returning home on April 28, the U20 Vietnam team will likely play a friendly match with the U20 Argentina team. The Vietnam Football Federation is continuing to negotiate with the Argentine Football Federation so that this friendly match can take place as scheduled.
At the U20 World Cup, Vietnam is in Group E with France, New Zealand and Honduras. The team will play their opening match against New Zealand on May 22.
