U20 Vietnam - U20 Hong Kong: A good start will lead to a good ending
(Baonghean.vn) - At 4pm on September 14, U20 Vietnam will meet U20 Hong Kong in the opening match of Group F of the U20 Asian qualifiers. A favorable result will help coach Dinh The Nam and his team feel more confident in achieving their goal of winning a ticket to the final round taking place next year.
With only the 10 group winners and the 5 best runners-up qualifying for the U20 Asian Cup finals, our players will have to try their best in each match. In Group F, with the presence of host U20 Indonesia, U20 Hong Kong and U20 Timor Leste, the first task of U20 Vietnam is to win against two teams that are considered weaker, U20 Hong Kong and U20 Timor Leste.
The opening match against U20 Hong Kong will be an advantage for coach Dinh The Nam and his team, as this will be a rehearsal for the squad after being supplemented with new players from clubs in the V.League and the First Division.

In the goalkeeper position, the coaching staff has many options as both Huy Hoang and Cao Van Binh have performed excellently every time they have been on the field. However, Doan Huy Hoang is likely to be selected as he has been on the field continuously in recent matches.
With the addition of defender Ho Van Cuong, U20 Vietnam hopes to strengthen the right wing - the weakest position in the defense. The ability to attack and defend, along with the young defender's accurate crossesLam River Nghe Anwill help reduce worries for coach Dinh The Nam.

Another Song Lam Nghe An player, Dinh Xuan Tien, is also expected to help the U20 midfield add steel. Especially after the injury of midfielder Nguyen Van Truong, the presence of Xuan Tien will greatly support captain Khuat Van Khang. Hopefully, with 9 matches played in V.League 2022, the young midfielder of Song Lam Nghe An will play confidently in the qualifying round.U20 Asiathis time
In the attack line, besides striker Nguyen Quoc Viet who has played very well since the U20 Southeast Asian tournament, Bui Vi Hao will also be a striker worth waiting for. The player under the management of Becamex Binh Duong has had 11 appearances in the V.League 2022 arena. With good physique, speed and technique, Vi Hao will be a new Tien Linh in the near future.
Of course, we cannot fail to mention captain Khuat Van Khang. He is the soul of U20 Vietnam, playing intelligently and skillfully, Van Khang's breakthroughs captivate the audience. Perhaps the weakest point of the U20 Vietnam captain is his finishing ability. Hopefully, he will overcome this weakness to help U20 Vietnam get the best results in the U20 Asia qualifiers.

With 23 players participating in the roundU20 Asia qualifier, coach Dinh The Nam must have reasonable calculations to rotate the squad, especially when the match schedule is dense with 1 match every 2 days. Besides, the coaching staff also needs to "save" the best moves for the direct confrontation with host U20 Indonesia, the "final" match of group F.
Our opponent in the first round is U20 Hong Kong, who just lost 2-0 in a friendly match with U20 Thailand. U20 Hong Kong's playing style is still a mystery to the coaching staff of the Vietnamese team. However, if they continue to play well as they have recently, victory is completely within the reach of Dinh The Nam and his team.
