U21 SLNA adds 3 more quality players to join the national U21 team

After finishing the national U21 qualifying round, U21 SLNA is the team ranked 3rd in Group C, with the best performance, so the Nghe An team has officially entered the 2021 national U21 finals.

Through the qualifying round, U21 SLNA had some impressive matches, especially the comeback against the strong U21 Binh Duong team. The attacking style of the Nghe An team is commendable. Many approaches to the opponent's goal were applied quite smoothly by coach Quang Truong's students. In Group C, considered the group of death, the yellow shirt team still scored a total of 7 goals.

However, the defense of U21 SLNA still revealed some shortcomings. To overcome that, SLNA's coaching board quickly added 3 quality players who are playing in the first team: Ho Khac Luong, Nguyen Xuan Binh, Bach Tien Cuong.

Among the three players mentioned above, the most notable is central midfielder Nguyen Xuan Binh. This player born in 2001 was called up to the SLNA first team in 2021, and was evaluated by the SLNA coaching staff as the fastest-improving player among the young players promoted at the same time. Xuan Binh plays in the defensive midfielder position, so having him in the U21 team will reduce the burden on the SLNA defense. Moreover, he will play a good role as a bridge between the back line and the attacking players of the yellow team.

In addition, central defender Ho Khac Luong and midfielder Bach Tien Cuong are also promising players of Nghe An football, so adding these two players will help U21 SLNA become stronger.

The final round will take place from December 19 to December 28, at the PVF Youth Football Training Center.
