U21 SLNA attends the 2019 National U21 qualifying round in Hanoi
(Baonghean.vn) - Coach Nguyen Dinh Dung and his team arrived at Viettel Sports Center to prepare for the qualifying matches of Group A.
The SLNA U21 team participating in the U21 National qualifying round this year are players born in 1999, 2000 and 2001.
Among them are many familiar faces to experts and domestic football fans such as goalkeeper Duong Van Cuong, central defender Thai Ba Sang, left-back Mai Sy Hoang, central midfielder Dang Van Lam, right-back midfielder Tran Dinh Tien and striker Tran Tien Anh.
Most of the current U21 SLNA players are playing for teams in the First or Second Division, on loan from SLNA.

To achieve the goal of winning a ticket to the finals, SLNA's Board of Directors appointed Coach Nguyen Dinh Dung as captain. Coach Nguyen Dinh Dung's assistants are Coach Dinh Van Dung, Coach Nguyen Quang Hai and Coach Nguyen Xuan Tuong.
This is a coaching staff that is both professionally skilled and experienced in battle. In particular, coach Dinh Van Dung is considered a "cool" strategist in youth tournaments. Meanwhile, coach Nguyen Quang Hai once led the SLNA first team in the 2006 season.

According to the arrangement of the Organizing Committee, U21 SLNA is in Group A with the host team U21 Viettel, U21 People's Public Security, U21 Pho Hien, U21 Hanoi, U21 Nam Dinh and U21 Than Quang Ninh. The teams will compete in a round robin to determine the ranking points in each group. The first and second place teams will directly qualify for the finals, while the third place team will have to compare their achievements with the two third place teams in Group B and Group C.
The opponent in the opening match of coach Nguyen Dinh Dung and his team is U21 People's Public Security, taking place on the afternoon of June 19./.
