U21 Song Lam Nghe An falls into the 'death group' in the 2025 National U21 qualifying round

The qualifying round of the 2025 National U21 Football Tournament will officially kick off next July, bringing together 28 teams from professional clubs, training centers and gifted schools across the country.

According to the draw results, Group B took place in Hung Yen hosted by PVF Youth Football Training Center. This group has 5 teams including: PVF, Hanoi Police, Dong A Thanh Hoa, Dao Ha Football Center andLam River Nghe An. In particular, PVF is the current runner-up of the 2024 season and has always been a leading force in youth tournaments. Dong A Thanh Hoa is also a team with great potential, having won third place last season. Hanoi Police and Dao Ha are formidable names with disciplined play and thorough investment.

Being in a highly competitive group makes the road to the Final Round for U21 Song Lam Nghe An full of challenges. According to the competition format, the 6 group winners and the 5 best second-placed teams will advance. In the case of a group of 5 teams, when comparing the second-placed teams, the head-to-head results with the bottom-placed team will not be counted. According to the plan, the 2025 National U21 Finals will feature the 12 best teams from the qualifying round. In case the host team of the Finals is among the 11 teams with the best results, the remaining spot will be awarded to the second-placed team with the next highest result.

With a long tradition of youth training, U21 Song Lam Nghe An aims to win a ticket to the Final Round this year.
