Russian UAV destroys Ukraine's HIMARS
One of the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) launchers supplied by the US to Kiev was destroyed in Ukraine's Sumy region, according to a video released by the Russian Defense Ministry on August 15.

The video, released on August 15, shows drone footage of an M142 HIMARS launching several missiles from a road in Sumy Oblast. The unit then enters the woods to reload. Within minutes, an Iskander ballistic missile strikes the forest, destroying the Ukrainian missile launcher.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the attack destroyed a launcher, a six-missile loading platform and two service vehicles of the Ukrainian artillery unit.
The M142 is mounted on a wheeled truck chassis and can launch a variety of GPS-guided missiles, converted aircraft bombs or long-range ATACMS ballistic missiles. The US has provided Ukraine with at least 40 launchers, according to information released by the Pentagon./.
