The People's Committee of Thai Hoa town held a direct dialogue with the people of Long Son ward.

(Baonghean.vn) - On July 28, the People's Committee of Thai Hoa town organized a direct dialogue conference with the people of Long Son ward.

At the conference, representatives from various sectors heard about the new points of the 2013 Land Law; regulations on urban management and housing construction permits. The conference focused on frank, democratic, and constructive discussions. Thirty opinions revolved around issues such as: delays in issuing land use right certificates; land acquisition prices, compensation, support, and resettlement; the process of counting assets attached to land and determining compensation prices when land is acquired; and the negative impact of construction projects on the production and lives of some households. Based on the people's opinions, the leaders of the Town People's Committee and representatives from specialized departments provided additional information and clarified the issues raised by the people of Long Son ward.

Implementing a system of direct dialogue between the People's Committee of the town and the people is a necessary and very important undertaking for the management and operation of the local socio-economic development, and will continue to be maintained and promoted in the future.
