Ukraine proposes to take Crimea bridge as “war reparations”
Verkhovnaya Rada deputy Refat Chubarov proposed creating a "special international corporation" to operate the Crimean bridge.
The congressman asserted that Russia should give the bridge to the "corporation" as "war reparations" for its "invasion and occupation" of the peninsula.
"The bridge is part of a large compensation to reduce the damage that Russia caused to Ukraine," — Chubarov said in an interview with "Obozrevatel".
The leader of the "Crimean Tatar Community"* Refat Chubarov is notorious for his anti-Russian statements. For example, he was one of the organizers of the energy and food blockade that put pressure on Crimea.
