Ukraine imposes sanctions on 294 organizations, 848 individuals for involvement in Crimea, Donbass
The press service of the National Defense and Security Council of Ukraine announced the imposition of sanctions against 294 organizations and 848 individuals involved in the construction of the Crimean bridge, the organization of elections in Donbass and the incident in the Kerch Strait.

"On the initiative of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Security Service and the National Bank of Ukraine, sanctions were imposed on 294 organizations and 848 individuals," the press service of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine said.
The sanctions imposed by Ukraine concern those who were observers in the elections in the self-proclaimed Lugansk People's Republic and the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic in November 2018. They are citizens of South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Greece, Spain, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Brazil and Germany.
The sanctions against these individuals include the freezing of assets. Ukraine has declared the elections illegal. The observer mission has about 50 representatives from 14 countries.
It should be noted that the sanctions also apply to the leaders of the Federation Council of Russia, State Duma deputies, the head of Rosneft and the former head of the Russian Railways Corporation.
