Ukraine deploys firepower bases along the border with Russia

The official representative of the People's Police of the self-proclaimed Luhansk Republic, Andrei Marochko, said that Ukrainian security forces have deployed fire bases in Donbass, along the border with Russia.

Sputnik quoted LNR intelligence as saying that the Ukrainian bases are located in an area about 2 km from the residential area of ​​Sizoe in Stanichno-Luhansk district.

Mr. Marochko also told reporters that the militia discovered an observation post of the Ukrainian security forces in the neutral zone. In addition, according to the LNR representative, in Donbass there has been an increase in Ukrainian reconnaissance groups using aircraft and other reconnaissance equipment.

In April 2014, Kiev launched a military operation against the self-proclaimed LNR and DNR republics, which declared independence after the coup in Ukraine in February 2014. According to United Nations statistics, the victims of the conflict have reached 9,400 people.
