(Baonghean.vn) - The Security Service of Ukraine said on July 29 that the government of this country has issued an order banning 243 Russian companies from operating on its territory on the grounds that these companies have partnerships with other companies in the Donbass territory that are not under the control of Kiev.

Ukrainian media reported that currently the foreign economic activities of the 243 companies mentioned above have been suspended.

Other Russian companies working in areas under Ukrainian control continue to operate normally and are not subject to economic sanctions imposed by Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko.

The media added that Kiev believes that domestic producers will be able to completely replace the above 243 companies to supply goods to consumer demand.

Earlier in September 2015, President Poroshenko issued special restrictive measures and economic sanctions against 388 individuals, including Russian citizens, politicians, CEOs, journalists and residents of Donbass. In addition, the sanctions also apply to 105 other economic entities.
