Ukraine says it is about to receive more air defense systems from the West
"We have reached agreements with our partners on additional air defense systems for Ukraine and some of these decisions will be taken earlier, and the rest - closer to the fall," President Vladimir Zelensky said.

According to TASS on June 9, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky said that Kiev has reached an agreement with Western countries to receive additional air defense systems.
“We have reached agreements with our partners on additional air defense systems for Ukraine and some of these decisions will be made earlier, while others – closer to the fall,” he said in a speech to the nation posted on the president’s website.
Bloomberg news agency on June 9 also cited sources saying that Germany is considering the possibility of sending a fourth Patriot air defense system to Ukraine, but a final decision has not yet been made.
Additionally, about a week ago, Reuters reported that Italy may send to Ukraine a second SAMP/T air defense system, currently deployed in Kuwait.
Russia has repeatedly stressed that Western military aid and training for Kiev's army will only prolong the conflict and cannot reverse the situation on the battlefield.
