Will Ukraine have a Prime Minister who is the defeated former President?
Ukrainian President Piotr Poroshenko has new plans for himself and intends to become the country's prime minister, "NV" radio quoted Verkhovna Rada deputy Anton Gerashchenko as saying.
According to Anton Gerashchenko, Poroshenko has accepted the fact that he lost the upcoming election.
“Piotr Poroshenko is the main target of the early parliamentary elections in Ukraine. He realized that he lost the presidential election, so he has drawn up a new plan for himself – he wants to become the Prime Minister of Ukraine,” said Mr. Gerashenko.
In addition, the MP stressed that Mr. Poroshenko is interested in holding early elections in the country's parliament in order to "retain the share of votes that he will receive in the elections thanks to a massive propaganda campaign."
