Ukraine jumps 7 places in ranking of world's strongest armies
(Baonghean.vn) - The Armed Forces of Ukraine (VSU) has risen 7 places and entered the top 15 strongest armies in the world, surpassing Poland, Israel and Australia. This is evidenced in the new ranking published by the GlobalFirepower portal.

According to the ranking, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (VSU) is ranked 15th, up 7 places compared to 2021. Now, the VSU is considered “stronger” than the armed forces of countries such as Israel, Poland and Australia.
A total of 145 countries were ranked. Global Firepower said that more than 60 criteria were used to determine the PowerIndex of each country's military - from the number of units and financial situation to logistics and geography. The authors attributed the rise of the VSU in the rankings to ongoing military operations on the territory of Ukraine, and financial and material support from the West.
Leading the list of countries with the world's strongest armies according to Global Firepower is still the United States, followed by the Russian Armed Forces, and the People's Liberation Army of China is ranked third./.
