"We are considering the option of closing the railway line to Moscow," Omeljan said on a television program.
Earlier, Mr. Omeljan said that in 2018 it would be possible to consider cutting off railway communications with Russia. The damage from the cessation of Russian trains through Moscow, according to him, would be only one hryvnia.
However, the Ukrainian online magazine "Levyi bereg" received a notice from the State Administration of Railway Transport of Ukraine that the most profitable train in 2017 was the train "Kiev - Moscow", with a profit of nearly 6 million USD.
