Mr. Vo Anh Tuan, Head of Card Payment Department at Vietcombank Vinh, stated: From 2005 to 2010, Vietcombank Vinh invested billions of VND annually in purchasing equipment for technological advancements, including personal computers and printers. All equipment has been put into use with high efficiency. Currently, all business operations are performed using computers and processed automatically. With 25 ATMs and nearly 60 card payment acceptance points of the Foreign Trade Bank in Vinh City, not only are over 100,000 customers using the bank's card services satisfied, but so are tourists from other countries and provinces. Simultaneously, it encourages people to reduce the use of cash. In addition to focusing on investing in equipment, business software is regularly developed and updated to effectively support operations. In addition to installing and successfully implementing programs developed by the Central Foreign Trade Bank for the entire system, the Vinh branch of the Foreign Trade Bank annually develops and writes many smaller software programs to support business operations. Many of these self-developed software programs are used effectively by various departments, significantly reducing staff operational time and customer waiting times.

In addition to the programs implemented at the bank's headquarters, Vietcombank Vinh has developed many electronic banking services for customers such as VCB IBanking, SMS Banking, Phone Banking, etc. These are modern conveniences that facilitate the retrieval and printing of data for customers with accounts opened at the bank without having to go to the bank. Especially with the VCB-iB@nking online banking service: With just a computer connected to the Internet, customers can freely check fees, interest rates, and exchange rates on a daily basis, check account balances and related transaction information, inquire about information on credit and debit cards, print account statements by time, and especially make free transfers within the Vietcombank system with a limit of VND 100,000,000/day. Transfers are now possible throughout the entire banking system in Vietnam.

Recently, Vietcombank Vinh launched the MobilePus mobile payment service (allowing Viettel mobile subscribers to use mobile payment services); VCB – SMS B@nking mobile banking service; and in addition, customers can use the 24/7 mobile banking service VCB - Phone B@nking...

By promoting the application of information technology in business operations, the Vinh branch of the Foreign Trade Bank not only increases labor productivity and brings high profits, but also provides its customers with many other products and services, increasing their business efficiency and contributing to the industrialization and modernization of the country.

At the Techcombank Nghe An branch, Mr. Phan Nam Thai - Director, stated: After 4 years of operation in Nghe An, Techcombank has provided customers in the area with many modern banking products and services, with a system of 14 ATMs serving units that pay salaries through Techcombank accounts. Recently, Techcombank was one of 3 banks in the area selected by the Provincial Social Insurance to pilot the payment of pensions through accounts for retired officials in Vinh City.

Currently, Techcombank offers many convenient services for customers, such as: online banking for individuals and businesses (internet banking); mobile banking... With these services, customers can "go to the bank" anytime, anywhere: with just an internet-connected device or a mobile phone, customers can easily check personal account information, make online payments, pay various postpaid bills, deposit savings online, register for banking services... and many other conveniences, saving customers time and travel costs. These pioneering products have helped Techcombank attract more and more customers.
