Applying artificial intelligence technology in implementing activities for women's advancement
On the morning of July 1, the Committee for the Advancement of Women of Nghe An province opened a training course on the application of technology and artificial intelligence - AI in activities for the advancement of women, gender equality and prevention and response to gender-based violence.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Van Nam - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs emphasized that in recent times, Nghe An has achieved many encouraging results, contributing to narrowing the gender gap in various fields, making positive contributions to the country's socio-economic development.
Gender equality activities have been carried out quite comprehensively by the province in all aspects of life, and have been recognized and highly appreciated by all levels and sectors.
Entering the Fourth Industrial Revolution, especially digital technology is developing strongly, creating breakthroughs in many fields, creating both opportunities and challenges for all countries and peoples.
In which, artificial intelligence (AI) is considered one of the core technologies of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution. In our country, some AI products developed recently have brought many challenges and also made many positive contributions to the socio-economy and life.
In the field of women's advancement and gender equality, AI has the ability to measure the impact of media on people's awareness of gender equality. At the same time, AI is also a powerful tool in researching the context, building strategies, and evaluating the impact of media on gender equality.

The training content focuses on two topics: System of contents and programs on gender equality, for the advancement of women in the current period and key tasks in 2024.
At the same time, share and provide some knowledge and skills on applying artificial intelligence technology - AI in activities for women's advancement, gender equality work and prevention and response to gender-based violence.

Through the training course, delegates will promote the application of information technology and artificial intelligence AI in advising and implementing gender equality work, for the advancement of women in the coming time, contributing to more effective implementation of gender equality work at agencies, units, localities in particular and in the whole province in general.
Directly delivering the topic were comrade Le Thi Nguyet - Head of Children and Gender Equality Department, Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and comrade Mai Thi Lan Anh - Expert, senior lecturer of AI Academy.
After the training course in Vinh city, from July 3 to 10, 2024, the Provincial Committee for the Advancement of Women will continue to deploy this training content in the following localities: Cua Lo town, Yen Thanh district, Anh Son district and Con Cuong district./.
