Support 260 million VND for poor people on Dinh Dau Tet

(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the program, the Provincial Border Guard Command launched a campaign calling for each salaried person to donate half a day's salary; non-commissioned officers and soldiers to donate 10,000 VND each.After a short time, the unit's officers and soldiers raised 150 million VND to support and help the poor.

The provincial Border Guard will use the above funds to buy 300 gifts for poor households in 3 communes: Bac Ly, Ky Son district; Tam Hop, Tuong Duong district and Mon Son, Con Cuong district on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.

In addition, 22 border and coastal border posts each presented 10 gifts, worth VND500,000 each, to policy families and poor households in the areas where the units are located, with a total amount of VND110 million.
