Who are the strong candidates for the British Prime Minister position?
(Baonghean.vn) - Immediately after the news that Prime Minister David Cameron announced his resignation, bookmaker Ladbrokes predicted that Boris Johnson, former mayor of London and leader of the campaign calling for Britain to leave the EU, is likely to be Prime Minister Cameron's successor, Reuters reported.

Ladbrokes offers odds of 1-1 for Mr Johnson. The bookmaker also offers two other options: UK Home Secretary Theresa May, 1-3, and UK Justice Secretary Michael Gove, 1-5.
Mr Johnson was mayor of London for eight years. He led the campaign to leave the EU with his own political ambitions.
If this politician takes over as British Prime Minister, we can "wait" for a major change in the foreign policy of the foggy island nation with the EU because Mr. Johnson has a relatively extreme view of the alliance.
Specifically, the former London mayor once compared the EU to Hitler. According to Mr. Johnson, since 2000, European history has continuously recorded repeated efforts to unite the "old continent" under a single government to compete with the Roman Empire.

“Napoleon, Hitler and many others tried this and it all ended tragically. The EU is making a similar attempt with different methods,” Mr Johnson said.
Boris Johnson's views coincide with Donald Trump - a candidate running for US President, believing that the UK "can develop stronger than before" thanks to leaving the EU.
If Johnson becomes British Prime Minister and Trump becomes US President, the world will probably witness a significant change in the order of power on this planet.
