Ukrainian presidential candidate threatens to put Poroshenko in jail
(Baonghean.vn) - Ukrainian presidential candidate Yulia Tymoshenko, leader of the Batkivshchyna party in Parliament, called on incumbent President Petro Poroshenko to withdraw from the presidential race, accusing him of corruption and money laundering in the defense sector.

Speaking at a meeting of leaders of groups and factions in the Parliament, Ms. Tymoshenko stated: "After the presidential election on March 31, Mr. Poroshenko and his accomplices will face criminal charges for corruption in the army, money laundering and withdrawing funds to foreign accounts through companies. I call on Mr. Poroshenko to withdraw from the election."
The presidential election in Ukraine is scheduled to take place on March 31, 2019. The election results will be announced before April 10.
