Drunk and died on the morning of the first day of Tet

(Baonghean.vn)- On February 9 (the second day of the Lunar New Year), according to news from the local government of Do Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, there was one person in the commune who died on the first day of the Lunar New Year due to drunkenness.

Tet holidays often involve excessive drinking leading to death.

The victim was identified as Mr. Le Van Linh (55 years old), residing in Hac Linh hamlet, Do Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.

According to information from the family, on the evening of February 7 (New Year's Eve), Mr. Linh went drinking in the village, and then did not return home. Thinking that he had drunk too much and slept at someone's house, the family did not look for him.

On the morning of the first day of Tet, people discovered a man lying on the roadside. They searched for him and immediately informed everyone and identified him as Mr. Linh.

He was transferred to Thanh Than General Hospital for emergency treatment, however the victim was confirmed dead before that.
