Amending and supplementing regulations on the authority to enforce Party discipline and military discipline

The Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission for the 2020-2025 term has just held its 13th session. General Luong Cuong, Politburo member, Standing member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, and Director of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission chaired the session.

At the meeting, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission listened to the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission report on the draft amendment and supplement to Regulation No. 932-QD/QU dated September 3, 2018 of the Central Military Commission regulating the authority to enforce Party discipline and military discipline of Party committees and organizations at all levels in the Vietnam People's Army.

Also at the meeting, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission considered a proposal to discipline 16 soldiers who violated the law.

These are very serious violations, negatively affecting the reputation of the Army, and no longer qualified as soldiers in the Vietnam People's Army.

With a sense of responsibility, democracy, strictness, strict assurance, compliance with the Party's principles and regulations, and military discipline, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission reviewed, voted and unanimously proposed the Central Military Commission's Standing Committee and the Ministry of National Defense to enforce military discipline by stripping 14 cases of their military titles; expelling them from the Party and demoting them from military ranks.

Concluding the session, Senior General Luong Cuong requested the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission to fully absorb comments on the content of the amendment and supplement to Regulation No. 932-QD/QU of the Central Military Commission on the authority to enforce Party discipline.

At the same time, review and complete the draft Submission and related documents, ensuring they are concise, concise, and in accordance with regulations, and report to the Central Military Commission Standing Committee for consideration and decision.

General Luong Cuong also noted that in the coming time, the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission will proactively advise the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission and the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission to closely lead and direct the work of inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement.
