The Central Inspection Commission disciplined a number of party members and party organizations.
On January 12 and 13, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Commission held its 11th meeting. Comrade Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission chaired the meeting.

At this Session, the Central Inspection Commission (CIC) reviewed and concluded the following contents:
I-Review the inspection results when there are signs of violations against the Party Executive Committee of Can Tho City People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term,Central Inspection Committeefind:
The Party Executive Committee of the Can Tho City People's Committee violated the Party's principles, regulations and working regulations; lacked responsibility, loosened leadership and direction, allowing the City People's Committee and a number of organizations and individuals to violate the Party's regulations and the State's laws in purchasing medical equipment, medicine, implementing investment projects, renovating and upgrading hospitals; many cadres and Party members were disciplined, some were criminally prosecuted.
The above violations have caused serious consequences, causing great loss of state budget, negatively affecting the reputation of the Party organization and the city government. Considering the content, nature, level, and consequences of the violations; based on the Party's regulations, the Central Inspection Committee decided to take disciplinary action:

- ReprimandParty Executive Committee of Can Tho City People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term and comrades:Nguyen Van Hong, Member of the City Party Committee, Member of the Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, former Director of the Department of Planning and Investment;Ho Van Gia, Director of the Department of Justice, former member of the Party Executive Committee, former Chief of Office of the City People's Committee;Le Duong Cam Thuy, former Party Committee member, former Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Can Tho city.
- Expulsionout of the Party comrades:Luong Tan ThanhandHo Phuong Quynh, Officer of the Medical Project Management Board, Can Tho City Department of Health.
The Central Inspection Committee proposed that the Secretariat consider and discipline the following comrades:Bui Thi Le Phi, former member of the City Party Committee, former Director of the Department of Health;Cao Minh Chu, Member of City Party Committee, Director of Can Tho City Department of Health.
The Central Inspection Commission requested the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee to seriously review, learn from experience, and direct, consider responsibilities, and discipline organizations and individuals related to the above violations.
II-Reviewing the inspection results when there were signs of violations against the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Border Guard of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province for the 2015-2020 and 2020-2025 terms and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hung Son, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Border Guard, the Central Inspection Commission found that:
The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Border Guard of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province violated the Party's principles and working regulations; lacked responsibility, slackened leadership, direction, inspection and supervision, causing the Provincial Border Guard Command and many cadres and Party members, including key leaders and commanders of affiliated units, to lack self-cultivation and training in political qualities, ethics, and lifestyle, violating the Party's regulations, the State's laws and the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense in the management and use of finance, assets and the fight against smuggling.
The above violations have caused serious consequences, causing great damage to State money and assets, negatively affecting the reputation of the Party organization and the Border Guard force. Considering the content, nature, level, and consequences of the violations; based on the Party's regulations, the Central Inspection Commission decided to take disciplinary action:

The Central Inspection Committee proposed that the Secretariat consider and discipline Colonel.Pham Van Phong, former member of the Provincial Party Committee, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, former Commander of the Border Guard of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
The Central Inspection Commission requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Border Guard Party Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province to seriously review, learn from experience, and direct, consider, and discipline organizations and individuals related to the above violations.
III-Considering the proposal of the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, based on Party regulations, the Central Inspection Commission proposed that the Secretariat take disciplinary action against comradeLuong Thanh Hai, former member of the Provincial Party Committee, former Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Nghe An province for violating Party regulations and State laws in implementing the Project to support the socio-economic development of the O Du ethnic group.
IV-Reviewing the results of monitoring a number of party organizations and party members, the Central Inspection Commission found that:
1-In addition to its advantages, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction for the 2016-2021 term also has a number of violations and shortcomings in the promulgation and implementation of the Working Regulations; organization and personnel work; consulting on the development and implementation of policies and mechanisms; equitization and divestment at enterprises, etc. The Central Inspection Commission requests the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction to seriously review and learn from experience; the Secretary of the Party Committee, the Minister and the Party Committee collectively lead and direct the development of a plan to promptly overcome the violations, shortcomings and limitations that have been pointed out; report the results to the Central Inspection Commission.
2- The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee for the period 2018-2021, in addition to their advantages, also had a number of violations and shortcomings in leadership, direction, inspection and supervision, allowing a number of violations and shortcomings to occur in the development and organization of the implementation of Working Regulations; personnel work; in the procurement of medical equipment, medicines and in state management of land; and did not seriously implement the conclusions of the Central Inspection Commission.
The Central Inspection Commission requests the Standing Committee of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to seriously review, learn from experience, and strictly implement the conclusions of the Central Inspection Commission; conduct inspections when there are signs of violations to consider and handle the responsibilities of organizations and individuals with violations and shortcomings that have been pointed out; and report the results to the Central Inspection Commission.
V-Also at this session, the Central Inspection Committee reviewed and decided on a number of other important contents.
