If V. Ninh Binh withdraws, all match results between other teams in the V-League 2014 will be annulled. The league standings will therefore be significantly altered.
In the first leg of the 2014 V-League, Hanoi T&T lost to V. Ninh Binh 1-3 at Hang Day Stadium. Therefore, if V. Ninh Binh withdraws from the competition, Hanoi T&T will be the team that benefits the most.
QNK.Quang Nam, B.Binh Duong, and Than Quang Ninh will lose points because they won against V.Ninh Binh, while DT.Long An, HV.An Giang, SHB.Da Nang, and Dong Nai all lost 1 point after drawing with V.Ninh Binh in their previous matches.
According to Article 69 of the VFF Disciplinary Regulations, if a club ceases participation in the tournament while it is in progress, it will be fined a minimum of 100 million VND and relegated to the 3rd National Division (the lowest division) from the following season. In addition, the club owner will be banned from participating in football activities for 5 years.
