Traffic collision, pulled out knife and stabbed someone on the street

When they collided, the two sides argued and fought with each other on the street. One person was attacked with a knife and fell down on the spot, while the other person, the perpetrator, was subdued and arrested by the people.

Hiep Binh Chanh Ward Police, Thu Duc District, are currently consolidating to transfer suspect Nguyen Thanh Tam (residing in Dak Nong Province) to the Social Order Crime Investigation Team, District Police to investigate and handle the act of "intentionally causing injury".

Initially, Tam admitted that due to a traffic conflict, he pulled out a knife and attacked, injuring another person on the afternoon of September 5 at the foot of Binh Trieu bridge in Hiep Binh Chanh ward.

According to initial information, at 4:30 p.m. on September 5, Tam was driving a motorbike across Binh Trieu 1 bridge, in the direction from Binh Thanh district to Thu Duc district.

While traveling on the bridge, Tam's motorbike had a slight collision with two motorbikes of passersby, including one motorbike of a man carrying his wife and child and one motorbike of a woman also carrying her child.

Although the collision did not cause any injuries, there was an argument between Tam and the man who was driving his wife and child. After that, Tam drove away. However, the man who was driving his wife and child chased after Tam and shouted “Robbery! Robbery!”.

When he had just gone down the slope of Binh Trieu 1 bridge about 100m, the man carrying his wife and children blocked the front of the car, preventing Tam from continuing. Tam also got out of the car and argued, and the two people got into a fight.

Suddenly, Tam pulled out a fruit knife and attacked, stabbing the man in the shoulder, causing him to fall to his knees. After stabbing the man, Tam tried to take his motorbike and leave, but people at the scene restrained him and reported the incident to the police.

The Hiep Binh Chanh Ward Police and the Hang Xanh Traffic Police Team of the Road and Railway Traffic Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police, were present nearby. When he was taken to the Ward Police Station, Tam stated that he was attacked and could not control his temper.

The injured man was taken to the emergency room with the knife still stuck in his shoulder.
