The accident occurred at 12:30 noon on June 8 on National Highway 1A in Quynh Hau commune, Quynh Luu district.

According to witnesses, at the above time, the man Nguyen Van Phuong (born in 1949), from Quynh Hau commune, Quynh Luu district, was driving a motorbike with license plate 37L5 4728 carrying his wife from Quynh Hau commune road to National Highway 1A. When preparing to turn left, he was hit by a motorbike with license plate 37H10.3086, driven by a father and son traveling from Giat - Hoang Mai direction at high speed, and fell off the road.

The strong crash caused the couple's motorbike to be crushed in the front, the victim's leg to be broken, and the father and son on the motorbike that caused the accident (returning from raking grasshoppers) fell onto the road, the motorbike ran for about 50 meters before stopping.

The accident caused two motorbikes to be severely damaged, all four victims were taken to the emergency room by local people before the traffic police of Quynh Luu district arrived to handle the accident./.
