According to people who witnessed the accident, at around 4:00 p.m. on January 6, at the intersection between Quynh Hau inter-commune road and provincial road 537D (near the commune committee), an accident occurred between a motorbike with license plate 37P8-65.. driven by a man named Lam (residing in hamlet 3, Quynh Thach commune) traveling down from National Highway 1A and a vegetable truck with license plate 37C-162.. traveling up from Quynh Doi commune.

The strong collision caused the motorbike to fly nearly 5 meters away, the man riding the motorbike broke his kneecap and was taken to the emergency room by local people.
Immediately after the accident, Quynh Hau commune police promptly notified Quynh Luu district police to coordinate traffic flow to avoid congestion.The cause of the accident is under further investigation.
