Collision with truck, female student died on the way home for the holidays

Previously, on the afternoon of April 27, at km25+450 of National Highway 46 (through Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan), a truck with license plate 37C-095.60 driven by Tran Van Luyen (residing in Kim Lien Commune) traveling from Nam Dan to Vinh City collided with a motorbike with license plate 37M1-749.25 carrying two people.

The strong collision caused Ho Thi My Duyen (born 1997, 3rd year student, Hanoi University of Industry) sitting on the motorbike to fly onto the road, was run over by the truck, and died on the spot.

The accident also seriously injured another person who was taken to hospital for emergency treatment. The motorbike was badly damaged.

Immediately after the accident, Traffic Police Team 1.46 and Traffic Police of Nam Dan District Police promptly arrived, regulated and diverted traffic to avoid prolonged congestion, made a record of the scene and investigated the accident.

It is known that the female student who was run over and killed by a truck lived in Hamlet 7, Nam Anh Commune, Nam Dan District, on her way home for the April 30 and May 1 holidays when the heartbreaking accident happened.
