Collision with truck, female student dies on the way home for holidays
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 28, Nam Dan District Police Department said that they are continuing to investigate a traffic accident on National Highway 46 (in Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District) between a truck and a motorbike that killed a female student on her way home for the holidays.
Previously, on the afternoon of April 27, at km25+450 of National Highway 46 (through Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan), a truck with license plate 37C-095.60 driven by Tran Van Luyen (residing in Kim Lien Commune) traveling from Nam Dan to Vinh City collided with a motorbike with license plate 37M1-749.25 carrying two people.

The strong collision caused Ho Thi My Duyen (born in 1997, a third-year student at Hanoi University of Industry) to be thrown onto the road by the truck and die on the spot.
The accident also left another person seriously injured and taken to hospital for emergency treatment. The motorbike was badly damaged.

Immediately after the accident, Traffic Police Team 1.46 and Traffic Police of Nam Dan District Police promptly arrived, regulated and diverted traffic to avoid prolonged congestion, made a record of the scene and investigated the accident.
It is known that the female student who was run over and killed by a truck lived in Hamlet 7, Nam Anh Commune, Nam Dan District, and was on her way home for the April 30 and May 1 holidays when the heartbreaking accident occurred.
