Collision between two cars

(Baonghean.vn) -The accident occurred at approximately 1 PM on June 11th, on National Highway 1A in Bac Hong hamlet, Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district, terrifying dozens of passengers.

According to several witnesses, at the time of the accident, a four-seater car with license plate 37D – 00258 (driver's identity unknown) was traveling from a village road onto National Highway 1A. At the same time, a twelve-seater vehicle with license plate 36M – 6866 (driver's identity unknown) belonging to the NCC Vietnam Airlines ticket office in Thanh Hoa was traveling in the direction of Quynh Luu – Vinh City. Because the driver of the twelve-seater vehicle was overtaking the car in front, he swerved to the left side of the road, causing the twelve-seater to collide with the front of the four-seater car which was signaling to cross the road.

The sudden and forceful collision caused the 12-seater vehicle to have a tire blowout and lunge forward about 12 meters before coming to a stop, terrifying more than 10 passengers on board. The driver of the 4-seater vehicle was also shaken.

At the scene, the front of the four-seater car was severely damaged, with many small pieces scattered around. The twelve-seater vehicle had a flat tire and was awaiting repair, so passengers were transferred to another vehicle to continue their journey to Vinh Airport.

The accident caused traffic congestion in the area for about 20 minutes before traffic returned to normal.
