Young man carrying knife to slash receptionist, shot dead by motel owner
Holding a knife into a motel to chase and slash the receptionist, a young man was shot in the liver by the motel owner and died.
Seeing Duong coming home by car, Trung, 25 years old, residing in Cam Thuong ward, Hai Duong city, the receptionist opened the door.

At this moment, Nguyen Minh Quan, 25 years old, from zone 17, Ngoc Chau ward, Hai Duong city, rode a motorbike without a license plate, carrying a 40cm long knife, into the garage and chased Trung to slash him.
Seeing the employee being attacked, Duong fired at Quan but missed. Then, Quan turned around and chased after Duong. Duong continued to shoot, hitting Quan.
Quan took his motorbike and fled to the intersection of Truong Chinh and Ngo Quyen streets, where he collapsed. Although he was taken to Hai Duong General Hospital for emergency treatment by local residents, he did not survive.
Immediately after receiving the report, Hai Duong City Police went to the crime scene to examine the scene, take statements from witnesses and related people to serve the investigation.
The autopsy showed that Quan was shot in the right rib, causing a punctured liver. There was a 0.5x01cm lead bullet in the victim's body.

After committing the crime, the suspect and the related receptionist fled. Hai Duong City Police organized a search for the shooter that night. By noon today, the suspect Duong turned himself in and has not yet handed over the gun used in the crime.
