3 million more doses of Moderna vaccine have arrived in Vietnam

This is the second batch of Moderna vaccine to arrive in Vietnam this month, bringing the total number of vaccines supported by the US Government to Vietnam through the COVAX Facility to more than five million doses.

US supports Vietnam with 3 million more doses of Moderna vaccine

According to a source from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the US will support Vietnam through the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) with an additional 3,000,060 doses of Moderna vaccine.

Vietnam has received more than 2 million doses of the Moderna vaccine donated by the US. The Moderna vaccine can be stored in a refrigerator at 2-8 degrees Celsius for 30 days, making distribution easier. Once taken out, the vaccine must be used within 5-6 hours.
