Woman in Nghe An fined 70 million VND for transporting smuggled goods
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An has just signed a Decision to administratively sanction Ms. TTP (born in 1962), residing in Block 7, Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province.
The decision on sanction dated March 28 clearly stated that Ms. TTP committed an administrative violation: Intentionally transporting smuggled goods in cases where the violator directly smuggled the goods, the violating goods were food and animal feed with a value from 70,000,000 VND to less than 100,000,000 VND.
(The goods are evidence of administrative violations including: 83 bags of rice bran weighing 2,430 kg; 60 bags of glutinous rice weighing 320 kg; 30 bags of Lao purple sticky rice weighing 1,250 kg; 13 bags of Lao sticky rice weighing 620 kg), as prescribed in Point h, Clause 1 and Point a, Point c, Clause 2 and Point a, Clause 3, Article 15 of Decree No. 98/2020/ND-CP dated August 26, 2020 of the Government regulating administrative sanctions in commercial activities, production, trading of counterfeit and prohibited goods and protection of consumer rights.
For this violation, Ms. TTP was fined 70,000,000 VND, along with confiscation of the goods as evidence of the above administrative violation.
