On March 9, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Department of Information and Communications held a regular press conference for February 2015. At the meeting, representatives of some press agencies and reporters mentioned the issue of spring festival management with phenomena such as overcharging at festivals, superstition, begging in front of temples and pagodas, profiteering at festivals, etc. Comrade Ho Mau Thanh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, thanked the press agencies for their attention in reporting and reflecting on festivals as well as some negative aspects of festivals. The cultural sector is coordinating with relevant authorities to absorb and rectify the problems of festival distortion.
