Bad luck still hasn't let go of the former SLNA striker
(Baonghean.vn) - Striker Truong Van Thanh will continue to be absent from the match between Hue Club and Long An Club in round 5 of the 2019 National First Division, because he has not fully recovered from his injury.
It is known that the player born in 1991 suffered a calf injury during an internal training session of Hue Club in preparation for the match against Binh Phuoc Club in round 3. It was thought that Truong Van Thanh would only have to rest for about 1-2 weeks before being able to play normally again. Unfortunately, the recovery process of the former SLNA striker is slower than initially expected.

According to Truong Van Thanh himself, this player will be absent from the match between Hue Club and Long An Club, taking place at Tu Do Stadium on May 5. Thus, this is the third consecutive match that the 28-year-old striker has been unable to play since joining Hue Club. Currently, Truong Van Thanh has only completed light exercises with moderate intensity.
Remember, the former SLNA and XSKT Can Tho striker had to sit out the entire 2018 season due to an injury. After that, with great difficulty, Truong Van Thanh found his destination at Hue Club, after failures and problems at Phu Dong Club and Binh Dinh Club.
However, up to this point, Truong Van Thanh has only played in 3 matches for the Co Do team (2 matches in the National First Division and 1 match in the National Cup). With the injuries of Truong Van Thanh, Tran Thanh and Tran Danh Trung, the Hue club has fallen into a serious striker crisis. That is one of the reasons why the Tu Do team had a bad start to this season (1 draw, 4 losses on all fronts).
Hopefully, Truong Van Thanh will recover quickly to help Hue Club compete successfully in the next stage of the 2019 season./.
