Recently, the first photos of Van Mai Huong and Mrs. Bui Thi Xong - a Hoi An woman with a kind smile, shared by photographer Réhahn on social networks received many positive responses from photography lovers. |
Sharing about participating in this project, the runner-up of Vietnam Idol 2010 said: “I have listened to many stories about life in Hoi An while working with Réhahn. This is truly a meaningful project, for all those who love the beauty of people”. |
Having carried out many photography projects in Vietnam and currently living in Hoi An for the fourth year, Réhahn is considered a photographer with a unique and humane perspective on people. In which, the beauty of Vietnamese women appears vividly through each facial expression. |
Réhahn confided: “The beauty of Vietnamese people goes beyond age and appearance. It radiates from the spirit.” |
Like many other art photographers, this French guy often does not choose to show off angles but looks for hidden beauty like the messages of photography, to convey to the public a series of life stories. |
Réhahn added: “Ageless beauty can be hidden in the deep wrinkles on a woman's face over time, the gentle smile of an old man sitting in a hammock, the happiness of an old woman leaning her head on her husband's shoulder after more than 60 years together, or the radiant eyes that defy age.” |
Regarding Van Mai Huong's photos, the photographer shared: "When you smile, your beauty is eternal, no time can erase it." Ageless Beauty will be exhibited in Vietnam by Réhahn in the future. |
