Van Mai Huong poured out her heart about her past love.

After the breakup, Van Mai Huong said she was happy and returned, devoting herself to music. She considered the past as a memory and was grateful for it because it created emotions for her to sing more emotionally and more femininely.

- 2017 was a year when you had regrets about love and music, because you sacrificed a lot for your passionate love of youth?

- I don't deny what you said. But what happened in the past has given me necessary lessons in life. Looking back, I see myself as a lucky person. Time cannot help people grow up and improve themselves, but also needs experiences.

- From another angle, I see Van Mai Huong is quite calm, you stopped the love affair at the right time, did not slide too far, no longer hurt, no longer dependent, strong and decisive. You "dare to make offensive statements"... This is different from before, why is that?

- With what I have experienced, I believe I will have more mature thoughts and insight than before, and then know how to behave properly. I just want to say that no matter what I lose, the one thing that will definitely stay forever is music. I love music and see it as a source of life.

- After a broken relationship, is it difficult to start a new relationship with you?

- As a girl, everyone will have moments of weakness, especially when living in a relationship that you put a lot of trust in. In fact, I am not the type of person who likes to demand or set too strict requirements in my relationship. But love requires challenges, seriousness, and understanding from both sides.

- You are a rather private person about your personal life, but after each relationship you become more open about your life. The audience sees you singing more emotionally, more femininely, and with a lot of contentment. Is that how you heal all your wounds and free yourself?

- In the past, music was a hobby and a passion, but now music is also a place for me to share my feelings. The interesting thing is the content of the songs I recently released:Those desires, Sand Castle…are all associated with my real stories. And emotions are what help me express these songs best and most emotionally.

Van Mai Huong pursues a mature, feminine and energetic image.

- Tet is coming, artists are busy, do you have time for your family?

- During the end of the year and the new year, every artist is busy, but I will try to arrange a reasonable work schedule with my crew so that I can both perform for the audience and have time to rest and gather with my family during Tet. Because Tet is not only an occasion for family reunions and meeting loved ones, but also a time for me to look back at myself and set goals for the new year.

- Next year is also your year of birth. So what do you wish for?

- My family and audience have placed their expectations and waited for me for so long. In 2018, I will definitely be more determined and explosive in my work and promise to send the audience many new music products.
