The female singer said that with a large investment in the music product "Monalisa", she had to work hard to pay off her family's debt.

On the afternoon of December 10, Van Mai Huong had a presentation of her new MV Monalisa. The music product marks the return of the female singer after a long break due to depression. This is a composition by musician Chau Dang Khoa dedicated to the singer of "If You Come". The musician was inspired by an occasion when he accidentally saw a series of cold, mysterious photos of Van Mai Huong and thought of the legendary Mona Lisa in painting.

Van Mai Huong said she spent around one billion VND on this MV, the most expensive of which was on costumes for her and her dance troupe. The singer refused all offers from sponsors because she wanted to create a unique product of her own.

"The money to invest in the MV came from my singing salary, which I sent home and my parents kept. When I made this music product, my parents lent me more money and now I have to work hard to pay off the debt for my family," she said.

The runner-up of Vietnam Idol 2010 worked with director Tien M.Nguyen and creative director Ha Do to create an impressive music video. The crew was inspired by Pop Art paintings to create the image of a Mona Lisa with Van Mai Huong's own style - sexy, seductive but still youthful and lovely.

Ha Do said it was her first time working as a creative director for a music video. Van Mai Huong's Monalisa excited her a lot, from the song title, music, rhythm to the provocative image of "your lips burning me". "I brought a whole truckload of costumes to create the look for Van Mai Huong and the dance troupe, including costumes by many Vietnamese designers such as Vo Cong Khanh, Tung Vu, Phuong My, Ha Le, Mantopia," she said.

On the Pop Dance background, composer Khac Hung changes the song's rhythm to a lively Soul Funk genre, mixed with Swing and classic Jazz colors.

As the person who oversaw the entire production process of the MV Monalisa, musician Huy Tuan said: "For this product, I decided to choose and connect a young, talented team from the North and South to help Van Mai Huong."

After releasing this MV, the female singer will organize music nights to introduce the new song and launch a number of music projects for 2016.
