Van Quyen missed many Euro matches because he was busy taking care of his children.

The former national team striker revealed that he only watches matches that take place at 8pm, and will rewatch late matches the next day.

"Watching live football is interesting, but I can only watch early matches. I have to make sure I'm healthy to take care of my wife's children," the former SLNA striker shared.

Evaluating the recent matches, Van Quyen said that the gap between football in Europe is increasingly narrowing. This is shown through the number of goals, strong teams have to struggle to win, even draw with weaker opponents. According to the 32-year-old former striker, this will be a difficult tournament for stars like C. Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic, Rooney... because of the pragmatic thinking of the coaches.

After the first round of matches in the group stage, Van Quyen said he was impressed with the performance of the Italian team in their 2-0 victory over Belgium. He hopes that the further they go, the more exciting the matches will be, giving the audience beautiful football.
