Domestic gold reverses and increases rapidly
Domestic gold suddenly increased sharply by 700,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling directions, bringing the gold price close to 79 million VND/tael for sale.
Survey at 5:00 on February 23,gold priceon the trading floor of some companies as follows:

DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 76.45 million VND/tael for buying and 78.65 million VND/tael for selling.
At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, at the time of survey, the listed price of SJC gold was at 77.20 - 78.20 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited was also traded by the enterprise at 76.75 - 78.60 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 5:00 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was at 2,024.925 USD/ounce. Today's gold price decreased by 0.035 USD/ounce compared to yesterday's gold price.
Oil prices continue to fall
In the world market, the pricegasolineToday (February 23) continued to decline following the previous session.
According to data from Oilprice, at 8:30 p.m. on February 22 (Vietnam time), Brent oil was trading at $82.79 per barrel, down $0.24, or 0.29%, from the previous session. WTI oil was at $77.69 per barrel, down $0.22, or 0.28%, from the previous session.
Analysts said that oil prices fell because investors were concerned about weakening global oil demand. Oil prices fell when oil reserves in the US, the world's largest oil consumer, increased sharply.

In the domestic market, the selling prices of gasoline and oil today (February 23) are applied according to the prices at the management session on the afternoon of February 22 of the Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Industry and Trade. Accordingly, the retail price of gasoline and oil is adjusted down.
Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline decreased by 360 VND/liter, the selling price is 22,470 VND/liter. The price of RON95 gasoline decreased by 320 VND/liter, the selling price is down to 23,590 VND/liter.
Diesel price decreased by 450 VND/liter, retail price is 20,910 VND/liter. Kerosene price decreased by 300 VND/liter, price is 20,920 VND/liter.
Domestic USD exchange rate increased sharply
USD exchange rateToday (February 23), USD VCB adjusted to increase strongly by 80 VND in both buying and selling directions, the world continued to decrease slightly.

The central VND/USD exchange rate today (February 23) was announced by the State Bank to be adjusted to 23,981 VND/USD.
Currently, the exchange rate allowed for transactions by commercial banks ranges from 23,400 - 25,130 VND/USD.
The bank USD exchange rate, foreign exchange rate and domestic USD price this morning recorded a series of upward adjustments at banks. Specifically, Vietcombank has a buying price of 24,390 and a selling price of 24,760, an increase of 80 VND compared to the trading session on February 22. The current USD buying and selling prices are in the range of 23,400 - 25,300 VND/USD.
Domestic coffee hits new peak
Domestic coffee prices were updated at 4:24 a.m. on February 23, continuing to maintain a high increase compared to the previous trading session; the increase was about 1,200 - 1,300 VND/kg and set a new price peak.

Currently, the average purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is 83,400 VND/kg, the highest purchase price in Dak Nong province is 83,800 VND/kg.
Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces is quite high at 83,400 VND/kg; In Dak Nong province, coffee is purchased at the highest price of 83,800 VND/kg.
The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha... is purchased at 82,800 VND/kg.
In Dak Lak province, coffee is purchased at 83,400 to 83,500 VND/kg.
