Gold forecast to surpass peak in new week

DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 79.00 million VND/tael for buying and 82.00 million VND/tael for selling.

At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey was listed at 80.10 - 81.10 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 79.50 - 81.65 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

Tightening supplies from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its partners (OPEC+) and Russian refineries cutting capacity due to attacks also helped push oil prices higher.

Oil prices continued to rise in the final trading session of the past week. Oil prices increased on concerns that the conflict between Israel and Iran could escalate, causing further supply tightening in the future. Brent crude oil prices officially surpassed the $91/barrel mark, reaching the highest level in more than 5 months.

Thus, with 5 consecutive sessions of increase, oil prices last week recorded a high weekly increase. Overall, last week, both Brent and WTI oil prices increased by 4%.

Closing last week, Brent oil price was fixed at 91.17 USD/barrel, WTI oil price ended the week at 86.91 USD/barrel.

Domestic coffee prices hit record high

Domestic coffee prices were updated at 5:10 a.m. on April 8, increasing by VND800/kg, at a record high. Currently, the average purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is VND103,400/kg, the highest purchase price in Dak Nong province is VND103,500/kg.

Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces is at 103,300 VND/kg; In Dak Nong province, coffee is purchased at the highest price of 103,500 VND/kg.

The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, coffee is purchased at 103,000 VND/kg.

Coffee price in Dak Lak province in Cu M'gar district is purchased at about 103,500 VND/kg, and in Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town is purchased at the same price of 103,600 VND/kg.
