SJC gold price drops to 78.98 million VND/tael
Today, SJC gold price dropped by 1 million VND/tael in the selling price, standing firmly at 78.98 million VND/tael, world gold price "turned around" and decreased sharply.
At the time of survey at 5:00 a.m. on June 5, 2024, the gold price on the trading floors of some companies was as follows:
DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 77.68 million VND/tael for buying and 78.98 million VND/tael for selling.
At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey was listed at 78.00 - 78.98 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 77.70 - 78.98 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 78.05 - 78.98 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 5:00 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was 2,326.39 USD/ounce, down 23.75 USD/ounce compared to yesterday's gold price. Converted according to the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is about 70,400 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is still 7.08 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.
Gold prices fell sharply in today's US trading session, partly due to a sharp sell-off in crude oil prices this week that sent the entire commodity sector lower.
