In this operating period, the joint ministries will set aside the BOG Fund for E5RON92 gasoline at VND300/liter, RON95 gasoline at VND300/liter; diesel oil at VND300/liter; kerosene at VND300/liter; and fuel oil at VND300/kg.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance also decided not to spend the BOG Fund on all petroleum products.

* Pig price fluctuates around 48,000 - 52,000 VND/kg

In the remaining provinces, the price of live pigs was recorded at 49,000 VND/kg.

Following the same market trend, in the Southern region, the price of live pigs today did not record any fluctuations and fluctuated between 50,000 - 52,000 VND/kg. Specifically, the lowest price in the region of 50,000 VND/kg was recorded in a series of localities including Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Long An, Dong Thap, Hau Giang, Tien Giang, Bac Lieu, Tra Vinh, Ben Tre, Soc Trang. On the contrary, the highest price in the region of 52,000 VND/kg was recorded in Vung Tau and Ca Mau. The remaining localities in the region also recorded a price of live pigs of 51,000 VND/kg.

Overall, the price of live pigs fluctuated little last week. The average price remained around 50,000 VND/kg. On April 2, the average price of live pigs in the North remained at 49,690 VND/kg; in the Central Highlands region at 49,210 VND/kg; and in the South at 51,000 VND/kg.
