Traders will be looking at economic data and the Fed’s moves, said Daniel Ghali, commodity strategist at TD Securities. The precious metal will react to any data released during this time frame, up or down. He also predicted that gold will have little momentum to move higher if there are no unusual data reports.
Crude oil prices rose 2% at the end of the week
Oil priceCrude oil futures rose about 2% on the weekend as Iraq voiced support for OPEC+ oil cuts ahead of a meeting on November 26. Brent crude ended the week above $81 a barrel, while WTI crude surpassed $77 a barrel. But for the week, both benchmarks fell about 4%.
