Went to the market to buy things, got robbed and had my motorbike stolen
(Baonghean.vn) - Going to Van market to buy things, Ms. Phuong parked her motorbike in front of the gate and locked it. About 10 minutes later, when she came back, she discovered that the motorbike had "disappeared".
The incident occurred at around 8:00 a.m. on September 4 in front of the northern gate of Van market, Quynh Van commune, Quynh Luu district. At that time, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, born in 1977, residing in Dong Tam hamlet, Quynh Bang commune, Quynh Luu district, went from her house to Van market, about 2 kilometers away, to buy things.

When she arrived at the main gate of the north of Van market, instead of parking her motorbike in the parking lot, Ms. Phuong parked her motorbike in front of the market gate and locked it. Then, she went shopping at the market. About 10 minutes later, when she returned, Ms. Van discovered that her new Wave Alpha motorbike, which she bought at the end of 2017 for 23 million VND, had been stolen by a thief.
It is known that in the past year, there have been many motorbike thefts in front of Van market gate. The trick of these subjects is to take advantage of people coming to the market not putting their motorbikes in the parking lot but parking them outside the gate with no one watching, so they take action.

After similar motorbike thefts, the authorities have put up warning signs “areas where motorbikes are often stolen” and installed surveillance cameras right in front of the market gate. However, some people are still complacent and let thieves steal their motorbikes.
Immediately after Ms. Phuong reported the loss of her vehicle, local police were present at the scene to collect information and investigate.
