Go to Nghe An to buy a tiger for 1 billion VND to cut its throat and cook medicine

On November 26, Thai Nguyen City Police (Thai Nguyen Province) said they were investigating the killing of wild animals at the house of Cao Tien Duc (55 years old, Dong Quang Ward, Thai Nguyen City, Thai Nguyen Province).

According to the investigation, at around 8:20 a.m. on November 25, a working group of the Environmental Crime Prevention Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) coordinated with Thai Nguyen City Police to catch Duc, Pham Van Sinh (37 years old, from Bac Giang province) and Lam Kim Dong (28 years old, from Thai Nguyen City) red-handed while performing the act of cutting the throat and slitting the belly of a large tiger.

Initially, Duc confessed that the tiger weighed 304 kg. He bought the tiger from an unknown person in Nghe An for 1 billion VND. When Duc bought the tiger, it was still alive, so he shot the tiger with tranquilizers and transported it to Thai Nguyen to kill and cook it into a medicine.

The case is being further investigated by the police.
