VCCI Vietnam admits 130 new members

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 26, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nghe An branch, held a meeting with members and a ceremony to admit new members in 2016.

Attending the event were comrades: Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Hoang Quang Phong - Vice President of VCCI Vietnam Office.

Nghe An currently has about 15,300 registered businesses, of which more than 9,000 are operating. Nghe An businesses are diversified in many fields, with the largest proportion being trade and services at 32.19%, construction at 24%, mining and processing industry at 12.64%, and the rest in other industries.

The conference is an opportunity for businesses to exchange, discuss and share experiences so that they can overcome difficulties and obstacles and move towards sustainable development. This is also an opportunity for VCCI Nghe An branch to express gratitude and thank the support of the government, departments, branches, and businesses and organizations that have placed their trust and accompanied VCCI over the past time.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Le Quang Huy highly appreciated the business community and entrepreneurs for their great contributions to the socio-economic development of the province in recent times. Provincial leaders are very interested in the development of enterprises, constantly making efforts to reform administration, continuing to accompany enterprises with 3 companions and 5 supports.

Currently, Nghe An enterprises are mainly small and micro, with unclear business strategies and limited capacity... Therefore, the province will continue to review and improve institutions, enhance the sense of responsibility to support enterprises...
